Review of Dinner Ross at Spiegelworld
My love for highly curated spaces is nothing new, but there's something magical about a place that transports you to a different era.
Entering DISCOSHOW at Spiegelworld, you are instantly transported into a New York Subway moment at bar 99 Prince. Stop and chat in the phone booth that doubles as a photo booth, then climb the steps to discover Dinner Ross.
As soon as I entered Dinner Ross, I was captivated by the soft, warm lighting, pendant lamps, sleek dining tables, and stylish chairs. The walls celebrate Diana Ross with vinyl records, the floor a bold checkerboard pattern, and the music? Pure groove.
I adored the atmosphere—even our slightly annoyed waiter, with his cheeky accent and mission to get us tipsy, added to the vibe. Everything from the colorful glassware to the vintage table linens and culinary nostalgia adds a charming touch!
The food had an elevated flavor to your classics but tasted rich. We ordered Popovers, Baked potato croquettes, French onion soup mac, Buffalo Chicken Schnitzel, Steelhead trout, and a Banana Pudding milkshake. The French onion mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, though it was a little surprising that it tasted more like soup. The buffalo chicken schnitzel was like a hearty, spicy chicken nugget that could've easily fed us for two days. And the banana pudding milkshake? Total satisfaction for our sweet tooth.
Would 100% want to go back to try some other desserts or have a 60-70s-themed editorial photoshoot there. Defiantly an Instagrammable food spots on the Vegas strip.
