Gidy Up Family Western shoot
Back in July I filmed a western family-themed video and never ended up editing the youtube video. I had filmed it about a week after filming my rainbow fashion lookbook and got overwhelmed. So being my procrastinator self did not even look at the footage until the beginning of January.
It was originally my mom’s idea to do this family video and I didn’t really know where the project was heading. Most of the time I have a vision for a project and she helps execute it but this time it was her vision. We game-planned last week and made a script for me to read as the audio describing a small piece of my relationship with each of my family members. The video was relatively an easy edit, I think that’s partly due to how funny the b-roll was. The end of the video was what got me in the editing prosses
Ps: This video does not look covid-19 safe at all… it filmed earlier in summer 2020 and as we all know that was much more laid back in terms of people we clicked with. The virus is very serious and just wanted to put a disclaimer because although my family is relativity small during a pandemic it felt like loads of people.
