Becoming Judgement Free

I judge myself. I judge myself so much that I let the possibility of what others might think in small ways dictate what I do and don’t do. Then start to judge other people, which is a quality I truly dislike about myself. The person I will want to become does not judge people, or themselves.

I want to live in a state of gratitude, not judgment. But how do you become judgment-free? Per Brene Brown’s research of shame and vulnerability if you can show up and have the courage to be imperfect. The compassion to show yourself kindness first. If you can’t show kindness to yourself showing compassion for others is a stretch. To have a true connection you must show up being 100% authentic. So without showing yourself kindness and the courage to be yourself you will lose out on the personal connection. This is kinda a big pill to swallow… especially when you feel like your peers are judging you.

Lately, I have been thinking about where I was mentally a year ago. I have made progress but I still, feel like I have so much more to go. Becoming a judgement-free person is something I am constantly working on.
